Our big girl QUEEN OF THE SURF, had a pretty good record already, with barriers being her worst friend. But finally today, the barrier gods were on her side & our apprentice @houstonryan__ rode her an absolute treat!
With a better barrier she was able to jump and be in a more prominent position just behind the speed, she is still extremely green and doing everything on raw ability.. We are keen to step her out over further now and see where the racing takes us!
The Queen is a beautiful #kingslegacy filly & she was just a $35,000 purchase from the Inglis Classic sale from the @sledmerestud draft, which proves you don’t have to spend big to have big rewards!
