Just a few days before turning 4, Bardia’s Dream has knocked off her maiden victory in impressive style over 1200m at Pakenham on Monday afternoon.
The Super Seth filly has always shown the stable plenty of ability and is still a work in progress as noted by stable apprentice Ryan Houston who did the steering.
‘She was a little bit green and wanted to lay in down the straight, but when she irons those things out she is going to be a nice horse’ Houston said after the victory. With many long-time stable clients in the ownership group, the win was a great reward for their patience, having given this filly the time she needed to mature.
The way she hit the line today, there will be plenty more wins to be had going forward.
