The Russian Revolutions have taken Australian racing by storm and we’ve pounced on one midway through the day on Day 2 of the Inglis Premier Sale.
Russian Revolution was a true speed machine, taking out two of Australia’s premier Group One sprints, the Oakleigh Plate and the Galaxy. He has already produced star two year olds Russian Conquest and Revolutionary Miss.
The dam Cappodocia was a very smart stakes placed mare who we never saw the best of. She is a half sister to Group One winning sprinter ZIP ZIP ARAY and listed winner ZIPANESE.
From an outstanding farm in Sledmere Stud, we loved this filly from the moment we saw her. She’s a sharp, medium sized filly who we hope will be mixing it with the best in Victoria’s rich two and three year old races in the near future.
