Our horse breaking program is designed to give young racehorses the best possible start in their racing career. We understand the importance of building a strong foundation for these horses, which is why we take meticulous care in gradually educating them through each step of the breaking process. From the moment a young horse arrives at our facility, our experienced trainers/breakers begin working with them to establish trust and build a bond. We believe that developing a positive relationship with each horse is key to their success in training. By creating a calm and supportive environment, we are able to foster a sense of security in the horses, which allows them to learn, develop and grow at their own pace.

As we progress through the breaking process, we focus on building strength and flexibility in the horses while also introducing them to new experiences and challenges. Our trainers work closely with each horse, monitoring their progress and adjusting their training program as needed. We understand that every horse is unique, and we tailor our approach to meet the individual needs of each horse. One of the key milestones in the Simon Zahra Racing breaking in program is when almost all of the weight is on the horse’s back. This is a crucial moment in their training, as it prepares them for carrying a rider and eventually racing. Our trainers/breakers take great care during this phase, ensuring that the horses are physically and mentally ready for this next step.
