Our small but mighty Capitalist filly SOJU took to the stage at Cranbourne under the lights to give her rivals a schooling over the short trip of 1000m.
As the saying goes ‘let fast horses be fast’ and that is exactly what in-form apprentice Celine Gaudray did. She jumped extremely cleanly and flew the machines, with Celine allowing her to stride out to lead the field hard-held. With an outsider looking to take her on, SOJU relaxed beautifully under Celine to zip around the he turn comfortably and upon balancing, she let rip to close away the field by over a length.
She’s a pure class filly who is certainly showing some real speed and talent in her races. It was a great result for her great group of owners as she has now managed to notch up her second win this preparation
