Couronne’s dam is the Gr.1 winning Seeking The Gold mare Gold Tiara, also dam of the stakes winner Golden Hind and grandam of the Gr.3 winning stallion Staphanos and the Gr.2 galloper Jun Blossom.
Also the winner of four Gr.3 races, Gold Tiara is a half-sister to the Gr.1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes winner Poet’s Voice and the stakes winner Queens ‘s Park. Her dam Bright Tiara is also ancestress of the Gr.1 winners Mozu Katchan and Blair House and she is a full sister to the Gr.1 galloper Chief Honcho out of the triple Gr.3 winning mare Expressive Dance.
This is a prolific black-type family with Expressive Dance’s stakes winning dam Exclusive Dancer producing the dual Gr.1 winning successful stallion General Assembly and the dam of the four time Gr.1 winner Versailles Treaty.
